Erick’s Two Cents
Introspective and Moving Forward in 2026
It might be considered a cliche but the first month of the year is always a good time to have an introspective. This helps a lot, at least for me, to figure out the mentality I should have for the new year laid out in front of us.
Personally speaking, 2025 has been a roller coaster of a year that crashed spectacularly. To be specific, the last two months were not particularly kind. Despite it, there have been nuggets of gold sprinkled here and there.

It all started with a notebook and the love of Preserving the Beauty of Every Written Word.
Born in the bustling and crowded Quezon City, Mazzi was always surrounded by activity and energy brought by the people surround him. In contrast, Mazzi always love the moments of quiet where he could collect his thoughts and ideas while writing them down with a quality piece of stationery.
“I find that writing down my daily experiences transforms them into something timeless. At the same time, I became more conscious with how I lived as I wanted to experience things and people that were worth immortalizing in ink and paper.”
Almost out of the blue, Mazzi stumbled upon a seemingly simple Traveler’s Notebook. It was at that moment he discovered that the joy of writing could be taken a step further.
And so, with the help of like-minded individuals, Mazzi set out with a mission to share the joy of quiet contemplation and thoughtful living with Classic Stationery Co.

It was a pen that launched a thousand stories and the creativity to Preserving the Beauty of Every Written Word.
Though born and raised in Quezon City like his best friend, Erick retreated to the outskirts and lives mostly in the City of Antipolo. There, he enjoys the calmness of life away from the capital; though he’s not one to shy away from a good party.
“My mind races a lot. Heck, it does it quite often that even my own mind is seldom a quiet retreat. However, reintroducing myself to the simplicity of writing in analog helped me streamline my thoughts. Who knew picking up a pen and paper could take me away from the rapid pace of modern society.”
Erick, despite being a writer by profession, was initially skeptical about writing in analog again. Mechanical keyboards and ergonomic setups were king after all; according to him.
A pen meet changed all of that. Seeing and experiencing the beauty of individuals focused on thoughtful writing inspired Erick to see life differently.
He works behind the scenes, in the technical and creative side of Classic Stationery Co., to help Mazzi achieve his mission.
